Monday - 16 July - the PAC Tour riders were riding form Butte to Bozeman, MT. Craig and I did an out and back and met them at the lunch spot. We only did 50 miles and ~1600ft. of climbing. Lunch was along the Madison River, although I was still full from breakfast so I just had one of Barb's yummy deviled eggs! Tomorrow we start doing the full days with the group.
Pulled into the lunch stop, there's a spot to wash your hands, first thing you do before you touch anything!
Awesome lunch crew! Debbie, Zoe, Phil and Barb in the background
The details for Tuesday morning, breakfast at 6:30, begin loading and pumping your tires at 7:15, depart between 7:15 and 7:45am.
The kick-ass map of the journey
Lon's bad wammer jammer F-150 - complete with cap, and custom rack for bikes and such! It also tows the hotel trailer.
We walked down the street about a half mile for dinner to Midtown Tavern - it was sensational!!! We had fried green tomatoes to start. I had roasted brussel sprouts with acorn squash, beets, mustard seed and pumpkin seeds!
Oh and a little gin, basil, lemon juice and soda.....mmmmmm!
